    National Cycle

I bought a fairing for my 81 GS1100E last winter. The website is www.nationalcycle.com and they have a lot of pretty cool stuff, although definately a focus on cruisers. I bought the F-16 sport fairing and I think it looks way cool, not like anything else I've seen. The online purchasing is not the greatest, they try and dumb it down for model-specific products. I e-mailed them about how the fairing would fit my bike and they were a little hesitant about saying it would fit; unless you have a new bike, they won't guarantee it. I bought it after reading on other forums about how easy it is to mount it. The shipment took about 10 days, which was fine (hard to ride in winter here in Canada anyways). The fairing fit great and is made of what appears to be good material. Packaging was really tidy and it included installation instructions, hardware, etc. The price was extremely reasonable, especially considering the outrageous prices the Suzuki dealership wanted to charge for a generic windshield. I would definately recommend this site.

How about a pic with the F-16 installed? I saw that shield on the N.C. site, and thought it looked cool too, but wondered about the fit and coverage from the wind....eventually, I went with the Deflector DX for somewhat decent protection.
Welcome to the GSR, by the way!
Here is my '82E with the Deflector DX.
