    Bearing Pullers on Ebay

Has anyone ever tried one of those inexpensive 3 jaw bearing pullers sold on Ebay? (They cost about 17 bucks, delivered.) They look like they would probably work pretty well but I'd be interested to know if they really do and if they're reliable. Also, I can see how you could pull the second bearing but how could you set it up to pull the first one?? (since you couldn't get anything behind it with both in place)

I tried a $9.99 from Harbor Freight, probably the same one. It bent across the bridge far too easily & then one of the arms snapped the first time I used it.....

With tools I guess you generally get what you pay for within reason.

Thanks, Dan. That's about what I guessed the response would be. It would have to be pretty strong to get the job done.
