I ordered a few items from them on May 7th, there was not details saying some items would not ship from them or that times would vary. The website and receipt all said
Shipping: $0.00 (UPS Ground (1-4 Bus Days))
I figured 3-4 days for the order to leave would be fair and waited 7-8 days before getting anxious. Part of the order was given a ups tracking code, and came within a reasonable time (about a week after the order).
The package had a note saying the other items where "drop shipped", not knowing what that meant exactly or when I would get them I tried to call the customer service department... well this is when it went from bad to worse. 9 of every 10 calls I got the busy signal, then I got an answering system that said the customer service department was not available and I should leave a message... not please but ok fine Ill start with that, only to find the mail box FULL. I then called another 10 times to get through once and started guessing extensions to find a real human, hitting "0" worked to find a person even though it wasnt a listed option. The guy tried to help me and explained the other items ship from the manufacturer themselves and would be a few more days... ok I can wait (like I have an option).
Then 3 days later the helmet shows up, its the right size like the one I tried on in the shop, so I was happy with that... but no jacket yet. I gave it another week and called again, now this was May 23 a full 13 business days after me order that was advertised as shipping in 1-4 business days... I learned my lesson and knew how to find a human and got the same type of answers but she said she could track it for me and get back to me. I gave her my cell number and was promised a call before the day ended. Well I never got the call and still havent got my riding jacket. I have take a few rides now and really want the added protection of the jacket, I mean thats what I bought it for.
SO overall the advertising does not match the real shipping, the automated tracking the send you doesnt include drop shipments, and you are not told when ordering what they have in the warehouse and what is shipped from the manufacturer. Then if things go wrong they make it extremely hard to talk to them if not impossible, remember I had to guess extensions to find a person and they did nothing for me and never called me back. I would strongly advise people to order carefully with them and if you do (prices are pretty decent) I would suggest only ordering over the phone so you can ask what the specific shipment details are for the items your want, but personally I will never order from them again and am still hoping to get my jacket.
