Thos OEM are so large because they used rubber and nylon in two layers. Those steel braided are so superior in construction that there is no need to be large.

that's what i wanted to hear AirCooled. I would hate to have to reorder lines. Someone else just used Russell lines and they are the same diameter as the OEM lines. I can't wait to hook up the new lines.
Now all i need is the body guy to paint my damn tank/sidecover/tail piece. He's had them for 2+ months. I know he'll do a great job at a great price but still, I wanna get out there and rided1979 GS850G

So here are some pictures of my almost completed front SS brakeline job using Goodridge lines.
You really need one 15 degree banjo on the right. I could not thread the bolt into the junction because the banjo's angle was too much. Likely for me i had a SS bolt where the head was more narrow.
Picture without the junction attached.
I'm having a small problem getting the dot 4 into the calipers. Going to Harborfreight today to pick up a vacuum brake bleeder.
Is there anything else i should get for this project while i'm there?
I have a few other items on the list for other projects.1979 GS850G

I purchased a 4 line set for the GS from HEL. Three of the lines fit fine, the rear line was way too short. I ended up using the line on my KZ.
One thing I like about the goodridge lines is that you can adjust the fitting. Can't do that with the HEL lines. As far as quality, they both look about the same to me.

Just remember, an opinion without 3.14 is just an onion!
