picked them up today. It was cold getting to the post office - I was wearing some junky old neoprene gloves that feel a little clammy, but keep my digits warm.
The Ballistics fit perfect/snug. The seams at the ends of the fingers did not dig in and there was just enough room in every finger 'crotch'. They were almost as warm as the neoprenes, but without the clamminess. By the time I arrived home (40 km, +10 degrees Celsius) though, my hands were a little chilly.
For the price, the gloves are great. There is leather in the parts you want it -fingertips and tops and textile (nylon) with some kind of waterproof coating called Dri-tech er whatever throughout.
Some cool features: The hard knuckle plate is not solid across all 4 knuckles, rather it is split in 2 parts so it flexes nicely. I thought the drawcord on the back of the hand was goofy at first, but it really helps to secure the fit and the dangly elastic has a tab of velcro on the end that can cling to your jacket so you look like you did when mom used to make you wear your winter mittens connected with a string through your sleeves.
The reflective piping on the knuckles and thumb squeegees are great bonus features.
On the downside, the cuff closure is not very tight at the outermost edge (and my new jacket was a little short in the arms), but I did not try to adjust it.
I'd give these gloves 8.5/10 great value, comfort, price...
