massive thumbs up for Z1 enterprises (again)

this is my second dealing with this fine business, admittedly I didnt look a lot the first time, but I was beyond pleased with their service.

fast forward to today, I purchased some valve shims, a couple fuel filters and I think something else(memory isnt great lately) early this afternoon. checking my shipping confirmation info, they shipped my order same day.

I must admit, few businesses can process and ship an order this quickly. particularly not with old CB900 parts like valve shims for my old honda.

Previously, I've been forced to use a sub par company whose service(if you can call it that) and absolutely horrible communication left a sour taste in my mouth. took a month for 4 little inlet needles when I needed to finish my ZX1000. never buy from oldbikebarn. period.

After buying from Z1 Enterprises, having no trouble finding what I need through an exceedingly user friendly site navigation layout, paying fair prices and realistic shipping, I conclude that Z1 is my new go to place for parts.

I've never even had to contact them about an order being delayed, its always been delivered within 4 days tops. this makes bob a happy biker.

I have had good service from them, but some things are a bitch on their web site. Try to find a set of stainless engine cover bolts dor a GS1000 for instance. You can, but not easily.

If you have any problems finding anything on their website, or have any questions about anything, give them a call. They are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. You'll be even happier with them!

        Thanks,

I used to always look at the bottom line when it comes to buying, but my experiences with the customer services at Z1 completely changed that attitude. I learned to never deal with the 'do it all' companies such as Bike Bandit or 'el-cheapo' stores like Cycle Recycle again. Z1 always comes first. Thanks for reminding me to buy wheel bearings haha!

i took a ride to pick up some parts from Z1 a couple months ago. nice folks. i think they were glad to actually talk to a live person for a change. it's basically a few guys in a nondescript building in a little town east of rochester. one guy, chris i think, showed me a couple routes on his computer for a more enjoyable trip home and to a nearby bike shop that sold me a tire cheap. it's the first place i'll go to for parts.

Go to the home page, type in "bolt set GS1000" in the search box.

              Done.

I'm MORE than happy in most instances to pay a few dollars more to them, they hook me up with parts sooner, and as I've said, do a much more amazing job than most places.

ONLY one place does better, and they're a local business where the shop owners, are the people behind the counter, and EVERYBODY knows everybody. people who are part of the community and have this shop because they enjoy helping people share the passion that is motorcycles.

That link is now corrected. It used to import only Kawasaki 600 bolts. I had to broaden my search to "bolt set" and open each page to find them before.

If you follow their links by make, Suzuki, large Bore Fours, GS1000GT1980, you still get Kawasaki 600 bolts.

Z1 Enterprises specializes in quality Motorcycle parts for Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha Classic Japanese motorcycles from the 1970's and 1980's.

                    We appreciate the kind words.

With the bolt set for the 1000 shaft, we'd transposed some numbers - set NGSS-780 was associated with the G models - it should have been NGSS-870.

If you notice any issues like this, let us know - there's over 500,000 part number to motorcycle model cross-references on our web site - so to find problems is truly looking for the proverbial needle in a haystack.

Z1 is too far down on the page,

I recently ordered some factory only parts from these fine folks. Dealt with Chris. Sent them a question about the oil lines from the crank case to the head along with crush washers. I was promptly replied to and called Chris. Got the details sorted and had my parts in good time.

It is good to deal with folks that say what they mean and mean what they say.

This is my second round of parts ordering. It is a good thing.

I will also give a thumbs up, both for my personal experience getting parts for my 650 and for all the freebies they donated to get Chris back up and running when I was rebuilding a donated 850 motor for him.

Got my first experience with Z1 the other day. I was helped very fast and courtiously and He asked if he could call me back in 5 minutes..I agreed. He had to finish something already on his plate and look for the availablity on some needle jets.. well not 3 miutes later the call came in and he even had a suggestion to save me a few bucks instead of buying a complete rebuild kit. I went with the suggestion and 3 days later the parts were in the carbs and it was up and running.. 10 thumbs up here..
