This summer I was taking a shortcut through the sporting goods department in WallyWorld and spotted an ideal box, apparently used for bait, hooks, and other fishing what-nots. Around $5 and it was mine, and holds all my electrical connectors. The lid snaps down and it has a carrying handle. My dad might have called it the bee's knees, Aussies may call it the duck's guts. I may also get one (or more) for metric screws, bolts etc.

Storage for Small Parts, Connectors & Such
Until this year I had been using a standard storage cabinet, 6 wide by 6 high. It has been a bear to move from the workbench where I do most of my electrical work to the garage where I sometimes need to do some finish or repair work. I wanted another one, but the price of $15 and up for something that was not really what I wanted put me off.

Also handy for carb parts.
And another one for all of the commonly needed small parts for these bikes: grommets, small metric bolts and washers, tach seal sets, clips for side cover emblems, etc.

If you guys know any die hard fisherman, it's almost a guarantee that they have a tackle box (or ten) that they would be willing to give away for free.

This is not a tackle box. I don't remember what it was called, but it has 4 levels and each one has compartments that can be re-sized by moving dividers. I'll see if I can find out what they call it if I remember. My jaunts thru wally world tend to be rather hasty so I don't catch anything or get mugged.

Big Lots and the various "dollar stores" carry them, as well. I don't shop at Wally World.
Great tip!
