I'm beginning to wonder about Boulevard. I placed a large (40+ items) order on October 23. I went with them since they were within a couple of dollars of Powersports Plus, and their parts manager Ashley is a member here.

I got the confirmation, and a follow-up inquiry email from them on 11-2, and then one on 11-3 saying everything was in and they were waiting for UPS to pick it up. Seeing as how I'm all of 200 miles away from them and in the same state, UPS is usually a 2 day event.

I'm figuring they are still in business, as I just got a sales ad email from them today.

Over the past couple of days, I've sent an email and a PM to Ashley, and am waiting for a reply.

Ashley is no longer there. The last invoice I received not long ago has a
Jarred Cuddy as handling the order.
I sent off 3 and received two E-mails from them today, but it was Nate Stickney whom I received them, he's the General Manager there.
I do believe when you order parts, they don't have them in stock but go out and request them from a Suzuki distributor, when they come in then they sort through them and send them out. If you need a part in a hurry, well you might have to go elsewhere. I have had a couple of instances where my order got fowled up but they always fixed them.

Good to know. Powersports Plus (PSP) for future business & the win. It's understandable Boulevard doesn't stock parts for a 20 year old bike, but the email of 11-3 indicated everything was in- it was from Brent in logistics. I've never had this type of problem with PSP. While I was not in a hurry to get them, this delay is now affecting me being able to move forward on my project.

I called them today and spoke to Brent. He said it had been shipped yesterday (see below), and that when he was "blasting" the order he realized one emblem was missing. That arrived this week. He said the email with the tracking # had gone out. I rechecked my email and the last one I got from them after his 11-3 email was the sales email for black Friday. I got the tracking # from him.

After I hung up, I put the tracking # in and it shows as shipment label being created, with today's date. What this means is UPS does not have it, so it was not shipped yesterday.

This place has gone downhill since Ashley left. I will avoid it until someone local can advise the problems have been worked out.

"Blast" was a communications program for transferring orders from local terminals to a VAX.

I have not used or heard of it in years. If they are communicating using an ancient mainframe and a dumb terminal then its likely a learning curve for the poor new guy.

This experience has not been a blast for me.

The order arrived today. I don't recall ever having this type of problem buying dealer parts. It was short 8 of the 44 things I ordered (almost 1 in 5), I got a cylinder head pad for a twin-cylinder GS I didn't order, and two of the parts I did order & receive were not on the invoice.

As a reminder, nothing was back ordered. This is what I got via e-mail on 11-3:
your order is ready for shipment just waiting on ups to recieve (sic) it where a email will be sent out with your tracking in (sic).

I've got to think this place is under new management or something. I just hope they can get it right. Most of the parts I was shorted are caliper seals.

I ordered a shift drum for my RF900 from them on 11/14. When I look up the order in my account there is no status listed. Only went with them because they were about $10 cheaper than Power Sports Plus. Don't expect much to happen this week because of the holiday. I'm not in a major rush for the part but I doubt I will order from them again. PSP's ordering system is way better because you can actually see the status of each part. Partshark has also been hit or miss for me, they gave me a major run around over a gasket set for the engine. Said it would take 4-6 weeks to get and PSP sent it to me in a week. I don't order OEM parts that often but I'm going to stick with PSP from now on.

That's too bad. When I took advantage of their sale last year I remember there was a bit of lag in time and I had to make a couple of calls to see what was happening but it was due to several of the smaller parts had to be back ordered, understandable I was ordering some very odd parts taking advantage of the huge discount. When it arrive though everything was as it was supposed to be. Sorry to hear of the troubles, crappy thing is it won't change me ordering if their prices come anywhere near what they were last time.

It took about a month after ordering to get my parts from Boulevard and it was missing some parts. I will never use them again. I order my parts from bikebandit or partsshark now. Partsshark is really quick on shipping. I also get some parts from Z1.

That is more like it, but I get the impression they do not know what they're doing since Ashley left.

X2 on that. FWIW, I couldn't have been happier with the order I placed last year (?) during the big sale and Ashley's presence. Its too bad things have deteriorated so greatly. If Ashley still monitors this forum she should realize all the more, what they had in her.

Placed my first order with Boulevard Suzuki on 11-26 and received 12-4 UPS tracking # and decent prices with free shipping. Air box boots for Skunk for $38.96 delivered. No complaints here.

Dropped Boulevard Suzuki two emails recently enquiring about a new starter clutch kit for my Suzuki GS1000 but no responses, very disappointing
