Partzilla
This is second time I've had this problem. I order a O.E.M. part from Partzilla long in advance of doing the job. After waiting for warm day to do the task I get out the part after taking my bike apart and it's wrong. Well it's been more than 30 days so no returns. Just wasted my time and money. Beware of Partzilla you have about 50% chance of getting it right.Tags: None

simple diaphragm for the front master cylinder 83 GS1100E. Number that I ordered. 59667-49300 They sent a superceeded part number59667-49301 it's about 5mm smaller. I was on the year and model page for my bike. The watch crystal I got from Ebay fits perfect 16.7mm I'll call zilla in morning. I'm also waiting for a petcock kit from Z-1. I have had this same problem with partzilla last year giving me wrong superceeded parts.

Blame Suzuki, not Partzilla. It's not their fault if Suzuki supersedes the part with something different that doesn't fit.Ed

I've ordered several $500 plus orders (with lots of small parts) from them and never had a problem with them sending a wrong part. There website is pretty good with superceded part information.

Thats why I like dealing with my local dealership. They do come in handy at times!!! If your local dealership is way overpriced on his parts. Add up what you buy in parts in a years time, and talk to the parts manager. Just don't tell the parts guy that I can get it cheaper somewhere else and walk out. If you buy a grand or two in parts in a year, that parts manager will cut you a discount in their computer on your parts. Now if you buy a set of sparkplugs a year from that dealership and are a pain in the a$$ every time you walk in the door. You ain't going to get any discount trust me!!!!

I already know how this will end,,, I'll begin dealing with my local dealer then after severe bleeding get ****ed and end selling my bike. I remember looking at a very clean 1150 years ago and passed on it because of their horrible customer service, I had a late model DR650 at the time. I spent 2 calls about 20 mins. each today and never spoke with anyone at partzilla. Also left a message for call back that never happened.

Suzuki at fault not partzilla.
After looking at many OEM retailers parts lists, It is clear that Suzuki has superceded the wrong part. Partzilla please forgive me. If someone out there has a 83gs1100E and you want a front master cylinder diaphragm it will be wrong P/N 59667-49301 WILL NOT FIT!

A good dealership would call U.S. Suzuki and tell them what is going on with that part number. Nobody calls Suzuki, they don't know there is a problem. How many thousands of parts do you think Suzuki has in their warehouses?? One wrong part out of 12,000 is pretty good odds in my book!!!
Just too bad that wrong part had to be yours!!!!

I've experienced a number of similar issues. Airbox boot clamps for example on the 1000E/S. They are too big. Order the clamps from the 1000G and they are perfect. Kind of sucks when you figure this kind of thing out but what to do?Ed
