Anybody own the Skil Secure Grip wrench set?

It's almost gift giving time, and what male doesn't like to receive tools?

I've read that their cheap construction might not hold up to long-term abuse, and that their short length cannot generate much torque.

I hope no one gives me a set of these -- they're obviously complete crap.

Besides the flimsy construction and short length, there's a serious access problem, as with most of these stupid gimmick wrenches. Basically, look at your vehicles for a few minutes and you'll find very few fasteners you could actually reach with these things.

Or, imagine using the largest one on a GS axle nut (24mm across the flats). Odds are it's going to fold painfully before budging the axle.

'Tis the time of year when shiploads of junk gimmick tools cross the sea and infest Home Depot.
