Mikuni BS/CV and VM O-ring Kits

Since Robertbarr has retired, I'm picking up this valuable service.

    Mikuni BS/CV Kits Includes

    - 4 Pilot Screw O-rings
    - 4 Float Valve O-rings
    - 4 Choke Plunger Cap O-rings
    - 12 Transfer Tube and Vent Tee O-rings
    - 4 Drain Screw O-rings

These kits are for the common BS32/34/36 four cylinder bike sets. I don't have experience with the 450 sets or the two barrel 2nd gen 550 carbs. Sorry.

    Mikuni VM Kits Include

    - 4 Pilot Fuel Screw O-rings
    - 4 Pilot Air Screw O-rings
    - 4 Choke Plunger Cap O-rings
    - 12 Fuel Tee/Transfer Tube O-rings. You may not need these, if your set has rubber coated parts, but I include them just in case.
    - 4 Drain Screw O-rings
    - 4 Needle Jet O-rings

All O-rings are Nitrile/Buna-N. These O-rings will swell slightly with gasoline contact, which helps improve the seal.

Cost is $20 shipped CONTUS per set. Paypal, cash in an envelope, check, all accepted. International shipping on a case by case basis, but typically just a dollar more. Send me a PM if interested, and I'll provide paypal info, or contact me at nessism _ AT sbc_global dot net (remove spaces and underlines)

    Thanks for looking

Bought some stamps today, including international stamps. As long as your country doesn't have any Draconian rules about "letters," it looks like a set of O-rings can be sent quite inexpensively- $1 extra over US shipped prices.

Three members have ordered so far, and I've got enough O-rings for scores more.

I'm also assembling O-ring kit for Kawasaki KZ bikes. The VM and BS/CV Mikuni's are very similar, but with slight differences. Also, I've got Keihin kits for the popular KZ750 bikes like mine! What's not to like!

Thats what I wondered....Take one set to the post office, get the rate, then buy stamps or pre-stamped envelopes. Now just drop them in the mail box for the mailman. Just not sure thats gonna be the same for every zip code.

Well, I learned that USPS has an "international forever" stamp, which serves a multitude of countries. Only caveat, is that these are intended for correspondence, not shipment of "goods." What they don't know can't hear them, though, right?

Non-US members might recall my approach to international shipping -- I used my envelope printer software to include the message "Here's your O-ring Samples" across the lower left of the envelope. It was remarkably effective; I never had a single envelope returned for customs shenanigans.
and God said, "Let there be air compressors!"

I'm up to seven members now ordering O-rings.

To those that have, please send me a PM confirming receipt when they arrive.

                  Thanks to all

Got my two sets of GS850 BS carb o-rings yesterday!

                    Thanks, Ed!

The California postmark was 9/15 and they arrived in Indiana on 9/20. So yeah, the USPS is a bit slower than usual, but that's a whole 'nuther topic. The goodies came through just fine, neatly packaged in an envelope and protected with tape and paper. Nice!

Folks, even if you don't need these, you will. And tucked into their little plastic bags, o-rings will stay in great shape long beyond our lifetimes.

Order up a set or two, and add them to your parts stash. Beat the winter rush... operators are standing by.

ED, may i suggest you also set up an email solely dedicated to oring orders. Ive had manu ask me on facebook groups about ordering but arent GSR members. Dont know what it costs to host a website but i would bet Robert would give his blessings to use the cycleorings name.

Well, chuck, feel free to share my contact info with anyone interested. As to creating a website, I'm unclear about the value proposition there. My rebuild tutorial, which is being hosted on a number of different websites these days, makes specific mention of cycleorings.com, so it would be interesting to know how many people are going there these days and finding the site closed down?

Hey that happened to me just a couple weeks ago (going to cycleorings.com to order "just in case" only to find out it's closed). At the time I would not think of coming here to order...

I'm reading about everything I can find about GS and the easy instructions you made helps me alot, thanks a lot for that!
