    Carburetor rebuilding

I have decided to retire from the 9 to 5 and concentrate on running my bike shop full time. I have over 25 years experience wrenching on everything from 60s Hondas to 2000s Vstars and everything in between. All Mikuni and Keihin carbs are my specialty. I also have experience with Amal carbs which were used on many early British bikes. I also have experience on small single cylinder bikes like Honda ATC , Honda Express, and many brands of Quads.
If i can be of service to you just drop me a PM with a contact number and ill give you a call to discuss your situation.
As was suggested i am adding that i can rebuild car carbs as well. Everything was carbureted when i was growing up but i never thought about adding them to my list. So if you have an old classic but you'll need carbs done for your project by all means contact me. Thanks in advance for your consideration. Chuck.

I would rather trust my bike to a "QUACK" that KNOWS how to fix it rather than a book worm that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix it.

Thanks Steve. I always have ample work coming in. Over the years ive never advertised as i believe you do first class work and theyll spread the word. And now that i wont be tied to that 40 hours ill be able to complete projects quicker and be able to book in more jobs.
Have many calls from guys saying i had worked on a buddies bike and your highly recommended.. that speaks volumes. Most folks with a classic bike cant find dealers that will work on them and techs these days if you mention a carburetor to them they start to recoil and get skittish. They only know plug a tester in and replace what it says...lol

I think you should advertise you will take on all brands and makes of carbs, from all vehicles.
Not as daunting as it sounds.
So many duffs have old cars and trucks collecting dust because they're clueless about carbs.

Hi Chuck I have an 82 gs550t. I have cleaned And rebuilt the carbs to the best of my ability several times. Replacing jets, seals, float needles but have been unable to clean the porting leading to the very fine hole at the engine side of the carburetor. I believe idol/ starting related. Any Video I have seen never address this problem. Can you give me some advice.

I will add that these carburetors are Mikuni constant volocity carburetors. And that the choke circuit doesn’t seem to work. Starting is very intermittent.
