    (2) Vent Tubes 82 GS650

I've started digging into my 82 GS 650 and see 2 tubes coming from each side of the carbs (not the fuel and and prime). Neither go anywhere from what I can see. However, both ends look like they could have been over a stem. Are these just vent tubes? You'd think they'd go to the air cleaner box if so.

    Thanks in advance!

Largest line in the T between 2 & 3 to petcock is fuel. Smaller line from front of carb body 2 to petcock is vacuum. T between 1 & 2 and between 3 & 4 are vent lines. Run those up to rest open at the ends in still air somewhere above the air filter box. No such thing as a Prime line.

Looking at your picture, I would route that hose inside the frame rail, then back, between the end of the fusebox and the frame. It will be laying on top of the air box. Do the same thing for the other hose.
