Tire prices and sale on Amazon
I use sport touring tires on my Versys 1000. Dont seem to get more than 4500 miles on them no matter what the brand. Tires like everything have gone up in price. Seem to be $350-$425 plus shipping. Found a deal on Amazon for Pirelli Angel tires. $225 plus tax per pair for 180 rear/120 front, shipping included. Recieved them in 3 days. Tires are not old. Front was from 2022, rear was from April 2023. Good write ups. Have a great Memorial Day weekend.

I kind'f hate it for dealers, but since the computer sales got here, hard to imagine buying at those dealer prices... But they're not hurting, just start charging huge amounts for mounting.1983 GS1100E, 1983 CB1100F, 1991 GSX1100G, 1996 Kaw. ZL600 Eliminator, 1999 Bandit 1200S, 2005 Bandit 1200S, 2000 Kaw. ZRX 1100

Agreed, I saw a boom in my personal business of MC repair so far this spring I've fixed 4 bikes in 2 weeks and the work is streaming in, Since the dealers are now charging +$125 an hour for labor my $75 rate is a steal for most, I also only charge for the work I do not on a job. I also only charge $75 for both tires on the bike. That's $25 less for just one at the dealer. I would love to make it a carrier but I just get paid too bloody well at my day job
As for pricing in tires I find Revzilla, Ebay (charpella) and Amazon are great places to find tires. I also keep an eye out for deals on tires that are 3-5 years old to run on my daily runner. I Saved hundreds on doing that with my GL1500 and the tires stick just fine. It's tires that are over 8 years you need to start looking sideways at but Ari made a great video about "old tires". I was convinced afterward and run unsold shoes on the machines I commute our tour on. Saves me big bucks and I don't bat an eye at performance or relaibility.
I do (my own) car tires so I save ALLOT of cash by keeping the family's fleet maintained out of my shop. Amazon and Ebay sell allot of no name branded tires. They last a good amount of time but aren't the best in the colder weather.Jedz Moto

Amazon is great except when it isn't. Beware the pricing and the vendors. There are lots of instances where vendors prey on lazy buyers helped by amazons default display of "sort by Featured"
If your going to use Amazon be sure to compare prices and do a proper sorting of the displayed search output.
As for me Fort Nine has always been great but not lot better thanl ocal vendors when they hav a sale.1983 GS 550 LD
