Hacker Alert Lockout - No Response from Admin

I am a fairly new member to the forum, but have gotten some great answers and help on the few posts I have created.

I was looking through photos of other bikes in the GSResources main pages and got a "Hacker Alert Lockout!"

I have messaged the Administrator(Frank) a couple times with no reply for several weeks...

Any other members that can help??

There's a routine in the forum software that detects multiple attempts to access in quick succession. Frank did alter it somewhat, but it's quite possible it triggered on your logins - there's a pattern to avoid, something like a dozen attempts in less than ten minutes will trigger it and lock you out.
A few members found that refreshing pages too often was triggering it.

However, you might get around it by re-setting your modem and getting a new WAN address. That worked for me on another forum that informed me my IP address was blacklisted, screwy thing.

I was clicking back an forth quickly (I guess) on some of the photos of bikes when this occurred. Resetting did not help.

I sent a PM to dpep

          Are you back on?

Well, at least I am finally back on!
My computer caught a virus and was quarantened at the Computer Doctor's for bout a week.
Got all my data erased (ugh), but did get it up graded to Win 10.

Then spent the next 2 weeks trying to get access to the GS list again.
Now I know what withdrawal is like ;-)
And now I know that this internet is waaay to complicated for me..

But I was able to sign on tonight!
Don't know if dpep got me back on or if I just wore out my blacklist status.

Didn't know if my pleas for help were getting through to dpep
or if I was sending emails and PMs to outer space.

            But now I know.
Sounds like dpep was pretty busy with the ICU.
Glad to hear you are out of the ICU and that you are making progress.

            Wishing you the best..............
