I have ridden it most weeks since then and went round the clock (sort of) in 2018. The only upgrade was to replace the old GSX11 Lunchbox headlight with a Round one.

So that brings us to yesterday. A little maths is required here i'm afraid

        76888 - 59945 = 16943 (the km that disapeared when i replaced instrument cluster)

Add it on to todays number of 43991 = 60934 + 100,000 as its been around the clock = 160934 = 100,000 Miles in old money.

Not bad for a bucket of bolts I wasnt sure was even going to go when i paid $800 for it all those years ago.

In terms of maintenance I have changed oil & filter every 6,000km. It has been through a couple of regulators / rectifiers and an alternator.
I checked the valve clearances about 50,000km ago but when i was tightening the valve cover bolts I broke 2 of them so I have left it alone since then.

          Congratulations! Well done.

I think it looks better without the box.
