Its dremel set. I used the bottom two , the small cup and the strait one. I tell you , in ten minutes it came out like you see it. I hardly even did a thourough job. It gets all the scale and powdery top layer off in seconds and it actually get into almost every crevice with ease. I am going to go over it again, Not sure if I like the finish look, but it would be a good prep for paint. Its super easy and did not scratch. There is a brass version of the kit also.

Wow that carb work is awesome! My only thought is how to keep it that shiny once installed...
As for me, got to test fit the bottom part of the Acewell bracket and started on the top part.1982 GS450E - The Wee Beastie

Got the Kwak frame back from powdercoating so I started putting it back together. God I love powdercoating.

Got the Acewell bracket bent to the right angle and the top part bent to form the cover, getting close to it being able to be assembled and test fitted fully before paint.1982 GS450E - The Wee Beastie

Yesterday I had to wrench on the 1100G again. The clutch cable broke on my way home, rode about 15 miles sans clutch. No biggy, I normally do my shifting without it anyway. Pulled the cable off of my parts 850, put it on the 1100, all is good now.

I finally replaced my chain. Took about 5 minutes. I've been putting it off because I want to do the sprockets too. I just took off the old master link, linked up my new chain and pulled it on through, then readjusted the rear wheel. I decided that when I do the sprockets, I'll take my rear rotor to get machined. So that will come later. I can scrub my rear wheel too. It looks like the whole black wheel is painted black. I think I'll do a spring cleaning of my entire bike and get it looking nice.

Went to a friend's house and we got his fully built 2002 TransAm WS-6 running. Bled the brakes, started to go for a ride, but he needs to adjust his tune first; it is running way too rich. Has all the equipment and experience to adjust the AFR, just needs to figure out how much to adjust the tables. Sure was nice to hear it run again.

Sorry, I had to remove the thread due to a GSR troll.

The Acewell bracket is all but done, now needs some smoothing and final shaping of the perspex cover for it to make it all line up neatly and have nice smooth edges.
I can't go too much further until the voltage monitor arrives from the UK, thought it would be here by now...
Once that's here and I figure how to mount it, I can give it all a coat of the black satin paint I have here and get it mounted.1982 GS450E - The Wee Beastie
