        Hi,

I am selling a 1971 Honda CB450 with VERY low original miles (4,741 to be exact). This bike is in EXCELLENT mechanical and cosmetic condition and has had a lot of work put into it. It has recently undergone a complete tune-up involving new points, plugs, valve adjustment, ultrasonically cleaned carbs, fresh oil, and more. The bike runs very strong and has excellent compression. Cosmetically, the bike looks as though it has been in existence for ten years instead of 40--SERIOUSLY. It is very clean and virtually <snip>
Well, $2500 is ridiculous unless perfect, but the Honda CB450 twin has one of the prettiest engines ever made (IMO). I even like the funky (but highly flawed) torsion valve springs.

This has to be one of the least desirable bikes of the 70's. My brother had one for a while, underpowered, poor handling and not good looking.

A reasonable offer is about $1,200, unless he can find some Wall St type that had this as his 1st bike and MUST have one

So, does that shock configuration soften that diamond plate seat?

1982 Honda cb750 custom in overall great condition. Could use a Carb clean, definitely needs a Carb tune. Michigan plates and Michigan title in hand. Also the alternator seems to be malfunctioning so the battery wont recharge, but i do have a spare alternator.I really hate letting this baby go since its such a beautiful classic but I don't have the time or money to work on it right now. Email for more current pics or call to set up a time to check her out. Taking offers! 512 791 8743. Ask for Luke. Thanks! Also the Bike runs like a beast when she's charged! Shifts smooth as ever.

WOW!!, I think CB750's must be the most butchered bike out there, I've seen more weird customs or half baked bobber/choppers made from these.

If it all works like it should, I think it is. I wouldn't buy it, but I think it is worth the money.
