2016 XL883L sigpic Two-tone blue and white. Almost 42 hp! Status: destroyed, now owned by the insurance company. The hole in my memory starts an hour before the accident and ends 24 hours after.

Who'd a thunk? I've been an avid CL lurker for years and never noticed that....I'm guessing that feature is (kinda?) new. Used to be that all clicking that would do would be to launch your email application ..... so never used it, as my personal email is all web based.

OK, this just cracked me up.
This guy posted his bike for sale on Craigslist and didn’t want anyone to see his license plate number… so he did this:
As they say:

Maybe a piece of paper and some tape?!

IIRC, there was much discussion about the reverse-mounted fork assembly being somewhat iffy in terms of handling.

What's someone going to do? Track you down and kill you if you show a picture of your tag on craigslist?
Thousands of people have seen my cool blue antique tag on the road (blueplatespecial!) and so far none of them have found my house and tried to chop me into little pieces.
I fail to see how a picture on the internet is any different
