    I had the 400cc version and that was enough at the time.

    750cc two stroke is like saying 1500cc on the same light frame. Mountains of power.

    Then buddy puts on pods to get a few percent more HPs?

    It's plated but this is a drag bike. The only "Safe place for that is on a strip.

    Almost the exact same power to weight ratio as a 600 Bandit.
    H2 = 74hp and 198 KG 600 bandit = 78 hp and 208KG or in the .375 HP/KG range

    It wasn't the HP that made the H2 dangerous, it was peaky powerband and a crappy frame.

    BTW 2008 Hayabusa = 220KG and a claimed 198HP or about .9HP/KG

      Right. It's one thing to roll on the throttle and feel the slightly increasing torque (pull) from 3000-9000 RPM, or even feel it ramp up strongly like on a turbo.

      It's a whole different game when you have the throttle smacked wide open trying to get some power out of the damn thing and suddenly you flipped a wheelie backwards and you're tumbling down the road when you hit the sweet spot.

        "Absolutely no test rides. I have been riding for 20 years I have a Yamaha R1 and this bike scares the hell out of me. Not recommended for beginners."

        This guy is honest anyway.

        The 400 triple was a nice bike, had enough frame and enough brakes, at least it seemed like it at the time. Still if it came on the pipe coming out of a corner it was a real eye opener.
        There's a reason there are not many 750s left.

          +1 on that, that machine is a foul, bad tempered green axe murderer.
          As it was said, the power is one thing, no more than todays pocket rockets, but strapped into a spaghetti frame and suspension with non existant brakes, the guys who used to race them had huge, cast iron nuts, but, damn what I wouldn't give to have one, serious grin factor.

            only one like it. Thank goodness.

            Here's what happens when you take LSD, watch cartoons and decide to 'customize' your GS550:
