So sorry, here is the link.

You guys know so much more than I do about GS models I defer to you to help. If it was a SOHC CB750 however...

He just called me back and is going to register on the site. Name is David, look for him in the electrical tech section, it's a GS550L. My gut instinct is it's his first bike, he has never owned or held a wrench and probably has never owned a voltmeter either. LOL This may be interesting. heh

Yeah, if one never starts, progress can be errr ahhhh difficult. LOL The part that is different about him is that he is more interested in getting it running than selling.

A different set of problems than what we usually see, but the seller seems to know what the problem is and is confident it is nothing major. After all, a friend told him so.

Doesn't look too bad for a partial cafe...but then there is this,

"Had a buddy take a look at this bike for me he said obviously it slips in second do to a clutch problem but will ride fine in other gears..."

Oh, then that is good, only need to replace the clutch plate for 2nd gear. Do not need to replace all of them.

The only problem I have with it is the price, come on, it's a GS550!

Now, if is was a GPz550 in mint stock condition, we could talk -

But then again, it would take more money.....

Anyway, I want to send them a message and ask just how many cafes it has raced and how many it has beaten, but I'll refrain -

                          Gotta get to posting.....

Need to get all this listed today:

So I guess if you chop off the rear, it's worth more.

I knew of this model (Madura) but never saw one for sale. What gets me about the ad is this; "THIS IS NOT THE ACTUAL BIKE, I DON'T HAVE A PIC OF IT."

So the poster uses this picture to represent the bike for sale...

Makes me wonder what the bike for sale looks like, is it better or worse than the picture?
