    This looks suspicious to me. Gorgeous bike but the lack of pics and such a vague post makes me think it's probably a bogus post. Looks to me like an 81 1100E but if so, wonder why it's not mentioned??

    1980 Suzuki GS Very clean - $1400

    Very clean. The paint is a custom job of the original style. Clean title of course! Bike runs real good, fast, and fun. Runs good.

          I guess what concerned me was why the seller didn't include the model. G's and L's seem fairly easy to come by but a nice E not so much and may bring more coin, so why not include it in the description.

            Maybe because he included a picture that very clearly showed it was an E?

              I'm with Burque73 on this one. It's a vague description, does not spell out exactly what it is, and obviously a file photo (and a low rez one at that) of a pristine example. It screams scam.

                A quick Google Image Search shows that image being used all over the place. ...and for sale elsewhere:

                        Lol...it'd be long gone if it were only $12...and not $12k {and my wife would be very upset either way}

                        Look over the gas tank...the backwards headlight is the tail light with a big red lense that has "stop" on it in black letters. With the backwards fenders it's pretty cool....he never builds anything half azzed....

                              Yes, thanks for posting about the actual sale. I don't understand the reason for fake ads. Are phone numbers and email addresses of unsuspecting buyers collected for future solicitation?

                              Seems like someone mentioned it a while back on this thread come to think of it.

                                Freshly built custom XS400 Cafe Racer. Just finished this build, it's got brand new everything, with the exception of the motor. Bike has really low miles, engine/trans run and operate perfect. New tires, brakes, controls, paint, etc. Way too much to list, but I have receipts for everything. One off build, not another bike like it. Turns heads, lots of thumbs up........ likely because of the pink!! Open to offers, no trades please!

                                Oh yeah that should sell fast
