I don't know how much value the mechanical mods add; if he can show receipts for everything then maybe a little bit. Its been crashed (no way the rear fender gets that deep of a scrape in a no speed drop), and the seat is going to need to be replaced. If it actually has the new front fairing, he's probably only off on the price by a factor of two (instead of the normal 4-6x).1982 GS850GL - Shaved seat foam and new seat cover; Daytona handlebars and Tusk risers; Puig "Naked" Windscreen\
1978 KZ200 - Mostly original, hydraulic front brake swap, superbike bars; purchased at 7k original miles
Track bike project: 2008 Hyosung frame w/ 97 gs500E engine swap (in progress)

I just don't get why they cut the rear end off. The bikes just look completely unbalanced. Its got a Dolly Parton chest and no Booty!!
I'm a Latin dude .. I likes me a little booty!!
In all seriousness.. my career was in design. I studied it and worked at it and was paid pretty well for it. They just look weird. Fab a tank that balances the bike out. If its just a bar hopper/wannabe street racer you dont need the capacity so go the whole 9 and fab a tank that works with your minimalist design or purchase a smaller tank and weld on the attachment points you need.
