That's a nice looking bike, and in that condition, if it was near me, I'd be thinking about for sure. I've wanted to pick up one of these or the 500 at a steal for some time now.

Sure it's not running, but the aesthetics are perfect. Talk him down to $500 and take it. Engine work is easy compared to rust removal, hunting down side covers, etc.

I agrree I don't like the apes but other than that the bike is sick. Lots of work went into that bike to make it look that good.

I'm sorry, that S 40 Savage is not a perfectly good motorcycle. It's a real piece of junk, anything done to it can only be an improvement.
I kind of like that one, I would be a lot more inclined to buy that one than the original.
Well, maybe a lot less disinclined would be more accurate.
At least it would be fun to stand it up against a tree and shoot at it, put a cherry bomb in the gas tank, or roll it off a high cliff with GI Joe taped to the seat...

With the stock ones, all you can do is look at it and puke.
