Both my bikes get to ride together, as I am providing the required "escort" during the practise period my friend needs beforedoing the road test ...(Man, this pop-art filter on the camera sure makes a bike look good!)Last edited by Gorminrider; 05-06-2013, 12:55 AM.

Steel Toed Tank
Went a little off the beaten path yesterday, rode up to my favorite little trout pond.
Despite being very hot the last few days, and warm for the last week, it was still very much frozen.
Luckily a recent fisherman had left some spots for me to still get a line in the water.
The fish weren't biting, but the beer was tasty, so it all worked out I guess.

Interesting combination of climate Tank. Glad to see you out and about (finally) since your riding season isn't very long.

SST,
So you went for a ride to actually GO ice fishing.
That tops me.
I have observed ice fishermen, while I was on a ride.

Would be interesting to see another picture of you riding home with stringer of, say, bluegills hanging outside your sidebag.

Mt Baker WA
Three of us from BC Classic MC Club, made the trip up to Mt Baker Yesterday, I was on my 2012 VStrom as my Cooley is still in pieces and we had Ross on his newly restored Z1 and Shawn rode his 650 Honda V Twin, great day and awesome weather, temps around 32C (about 90F) on the flat and 18C on at the top parking lot.
Border waits were only 2-3 mins on the way down and less than 10 on the way home.
Good day out riding.
Here's the bikes taking a rest at the top.

I went for a ride on...
THE KANCAMAGUS HIGHWAY!!
Ended up being a 450 miles to there around the loop (302-112-302) and back to my house in Colchester. Great ride for it! 84' and sunny. No one out on it so I had the Kanc to myself today... gorgeous ride! Now I'm in the garage wrenching on my GS750.Last edited by Jedz123; 05-07-2013, 03:43 PM.Jedz Moto
