Took advantage of the unseasonably mild temps yesterday and went for a nice ride around the Kingsport, TN area.
Here's a picture I took at the Fort Patrick Henry dam overlook.Attached FilesCommon sense has become so uncommon that I consider it a super power.
Present Stable includes:
'74 GT750 Resto-mod I've owned since '79
'83 GS1100E (The best E I've ever enjoyed, Joe Nardy's former bike)
'82 GS1100G Resto project

When consulting the magic 8 ball for advice, one must first ask it "will your answers be accurate?"

Yup the 450's still going strong, she's a good old girl! I've been riding without touching the rear brake since I got the new rear tyre on last Tuesday as the shoes were pretty dead. Put new ones in last night so the twisties on Saturday should be a little better now that I'll be able to trail brake again
I won't be selling the 450 any time soon... and when I get my Kat (one day) the 450 will still be the daily rider...1982 GS450E - The Wee Beastie

Was invited to Stahlgrau333s place for Gobble Till You Wobble and we got the bikes out for a little holiday jaunt. I was on the 75 Goldwing and he was on his girls little 83 Honda CM 250C. He had it pegged and that little bike tops out at 66 MPH. Was a little chilly but we had fun.
Gonna be at 70 degrees Sunday afternoon so we are planning on another ride this weekend Take the days when you can find them this time of year!!!MY BIKES..1977 GS 750 B, 1978 GS 1000 C (X2)
1978 GS 1000 E, 1979 GS 1000 S, 1973 Yamaha TX 750, 1977 Kawasaki KZ 650B1, 1975 Honda GL1000 Goldwing, 1983 CB 650SC Nighthawk, 1972 Honda CB 350K4, 74 Honda CB550
NEVER SNEAK UP ON A SLEEPING DOG..NOT EVEN YOUR OWN.
I would rather trust my bike to a "QUACK" that KNOWS how to fix it rather than a book worm that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix it.
