Anyway! Sister's wedding was a few weeks ago, naturally, I drove there with my bike. I took this picture on the return trip. Absolutely beautiful region, with next to none traffic, and almost all roads being scenic routes twisting around, up and down many a hill, being so narrow, having so tight corners, and beautiful views that you just can't, and really don't have to drive fast to have a blast. I'm not joking that I was smiling under my helmet without skip for a long time..

Saturday afternoon, rode into Grand Rapids on a road that follows the river.
Went to Grand Rapids 28th Street Car Cruise.
Lots of different car clubs having shows at various places along the road, over about 5-6 miles.
Wasnt much of a "cruise" was more of a "Stop-n-Crawl".
I stopped in a a few different places, then got annoyed with the crowds/traffic and set my search on a BBQ vendor
Found one, was great.
THe lady there said "got a phone? gimme, I make yall a picture!". Very friendly, we both had a good laugh.

After almost 2000 miles on the KLR650, I switched it up with something different today...a K75. Certainly not as nimble on the dirt, but on paved back roads and highway a little more plush.

Eddie 21, LOVE that pic of your friends and your bikes.
Wyly, glad to see the ES out and about. I dig the red / black paint scheme.sigpic
When consulting the magic 8 ball for advice, one must first ask it "will your answers be accurate?"

Went for a quick ride today to pick up supplies for the house project, and dinner (wine), and of course took the long-ish way home.
While walking away my bike in the Home Depot parking lot, a guy called from a car asking if I was on the GSR. Turns out it was a fellow member, Gordinho80. He recognized my bike. Had a nice chat with him. It was cool to finally meet a fellow member.Last edited by dorkburger; 09-04-2016, 12:35 AM.sigpic
