It sure is, Steve. I was asking about the steering damper and checking it out when my buddy said go ahead, take it out! I was super stoked to ride it. He is the third owner and it only has 13k miles on it.

That brings back great memories. It was the first "big bike" I ever owned. It felt so powerful compared to the small bore dirt bikes I was riding at the time. Loved the torque. Sold it to get a CB750, and then on to all the street bikes I've owned since. A 305 scrambler started it all for me.

Very nice!! Those and the new Triumph Scramblers are what inspired my 450... love 'em!

Got out a bit early for Saturday morning breakfast ride.
Stopped a couple places looking for sunrize over the river... an hour too late.

Came out from breakfast and it was sprinking.
Raining before I got home, ah, heck, am wett already so kept on going for more of a ride out of town.

Hey Dave, sound like a good start for a Saturday. Sunrise is a tricky one for me to catch. Even if I get the timing right the pic looks lousy.

                    Cheers!

After quite a bit of running around in the truck today, I jumped on the bike to go to my massage appointment (still having neck muscle issues) and then went exploring out by Caesar Creek State Park for about 60 miles. No pictures as I was having too much fun with the ride plus avoiding a cage who felt he needed to use my lane to get through a left hand curve and then a rock that decided to make the front do a little crow hop on me. It was a nice late afternoon ride, one of a very few for me this year.

Rode to the Cafe Racer Magazine Readers Ride-In Bike Show. Had great weather & a good turnout.

                        I rode a 1975 Suzuki GT550 two stroke.

Would-have-never-guessed was an easy pick. A Goldwing with nitrous that won for wildest engineering.

Jabcb: thanks for posting pictures of the cafe motorcycle meet in Pittsburgh. I wanted to go but had to work instead. Your motorcycle could have easily won best Japanese motorcycle, (I love your front brakes) But I liked the 380's spoked wheels. I'm glad you had nice weather and a good turn out.👍

You might like the GT380 project I just finished. Had wanted to take it but a second test ride that’s 70 miles is a bit risky.

Rode to a late breakfast at the Queen Creek Olive Mill today. It poured rain last night and the night before, but the morning was crystal clear.
