Great pictures Dave! (as usual). The Beemer is looking good, the weather looks fantastic. Now remember, when riding the Beemer, no waving to other riders. Haha☺

Well Norm, I do not ascribe to what I think the typical bmw rider does, and that is they have to evaluate the cost of the other riders bike and riding gear before they can determine if should wave or not.
Hum, that not a $800 shubert helmet, that not a $1000 aerostitch suit, those not $400 boots, nope, dont need to wave.

Today: Got out for 3 hours this afternoon. (with my 11 year old tourmaster jacket, and older helmet that came with bike, and caterpillar work boots)
        Got further out the 76.

Then went to the first of two roads I had picked out on the map. It had a big "private road" sign and another big sign in some oriental language. So went to the next road I had in mind, and it was a dirt road, and I dont mean gravel, I mean dirt.....
Well, so much for advance planning. So reverted to my "look-at-intesection-and-decide-which-way" method.
So went further and saw a sign for Cole Grade Road, and it looked intersting and I know that around here "Grade" road means goes up or down some elevation.

Yep, Turns and some some swtichbacks going up and around, with about no shoulder most places, and rock edge on one side, and drop off into canyon on other side.
Ran up and down this a couple times.
Sign for "9% grade for 3 miles" on way down.

Man looks like some awesome riding Dave!!!!

          Very Jealous!

My Cruise was a 7.2 mile run indoors today... All I'm going to get, I'm now at work finishing up some paperwork and readying for winter carnival. My work day will likely end around 3AM...

I rode portal trail yesterday. If you want to see google up "don't look down portal". Another good video is "the deadly portal trail..from above".and for the scardy cats watch video "riding (walking) the cliff exposure of portal trail"
Today captain ahab trail with group of 9, should earn some good tips, epic terrain..anothe trail worth googling up to see. Laugh at indoor exercising.

I got the KLR out for a bit yesterday. Passed this group of bikes like they were standing still...

I don't know....it sure looks like that yellow bike has your KLR beat by a full bike length!

The most horsepower and you are only in third place.

HAHA I'll be happy if I can get in half as good of shape as you!
Hmm Safforn cordial would be perfect. Especially after this last weekend.
TUX is here always. I said I was going to sell it and Shan told me "NO!". I'm doing some work to it now and running a 34mm VM Mikuni slider carb. Since I now own it forever (it was my first brand new bike purchase) Might as well give it a touch more beans. Guest room is now setup and can offer you a bed for your next visit .
I'm currently listing the FZ6 but no bites... Might be too early. It's a decent machine, couple friends are interested but nothing set yet.

I went for a little ride yesterday. 50° and not to sunny but I had fun. I think the FJR looks good with the side bags and the trunk removed. 👍
