Some places it would have been shot to pieces, but that seemed like a high class farmers area.

TOday I went riding in the rain. It was wet and somewhat cold. Sadly I lost one of my cylinder head covers, probably because I just swapped the screws with the stainless ones :/ I guess Ill have to use threadlocker from now on, and get a new cover.

Finally got my old RF insured under our collector program... super cheap insurance but there are some restrictions of usage. Aimlessly riding around is allowed though so....

It may be jurassic but the little 600 still knows how to scream its face off. Fun!

Did a nice 330 km run with my mates. See map here. Great riding around the lakes north east of Toronto. Stopped for a socially distant bagged lunch in Buckhorn.

Whenever I think I should get a brand new bike, my GS650G impresses me. What new sub-750cc motorcycle can I find with shaft drive, triple disk brakes, proper fuel gauge, gear indicator light, and over 65 hp? They just don’t make them like this anymore.

So, I think I’ll just keep this machine, get it repainted and new chrome mufflers and keep on riding.

I bought a TL1000R from a guy in Lindsay back in 2010 or so.

Great riding this weekend. Put on 160 miles. My most in a weekend so far. Bike ran flawlessly. Rural, dirt, about 20 miles of interstate. From Liverpool along the Susquehanna River, to Lock Haven on some of the most scenic roads around. Through Amish farm country to twisty mountain roads and an extended 80 mph slog on I-80 just to see how she’d run. I was not disappointed. Only took a few pics. This is at RB Winter State Park, one of Central PA’s finest beaches.

Today’s ride Soundtrack was Joe Satriani-Flying in a Blue Dream. I truly was.

Todd...I have always loved your bike...and the fact that you have had it as long as you have and ride it so much, makes it even more special my friend. I look forward to riding with you again someday.

It was extremely sunny today and though not as hot as yesterday, it still was a warm one (80ish degrees Fahrenheit) so I ventured out to go find some waterfalls. I didn't get to see all of the ones I wanted but I have a better idea of where I should park next time. Came across this covered bridge though that stopped being used in the early 2000s:
