200 miles on the VMAX yesterday... Despite being stuck within Vermont Borders I'm loving this season... One of the best ever!

I'm having a good year riding also. I hit the 12,000 mile mark last night. I took a ride down to the Ohio river to check out the progress on the "Cracker" plant. Shell oil petrochemical plant, Ethylene Cracker. They make plastic.

Norm, it did me good to see you this year!!! I wish I could have played a better host. Definitely need to get you back here to show some fun riding!

Me too. I have wasted too much prime season on waiting for stuff (tyres). And now I need to finnish the rear brake before Im back on the road.

Big day... 300 miles again, feel fall in the air. Makes me ride harder knowing these perfect days will soon pass.

Got RT back together. Rode out of town and back for relaxing half hour ride.
Went downtown for a Kozak Gryo.
With various parts of the main street blocked off for outside seating for the restaurants, had to get inventive to find place to park bike in front of the place.

Gyro has to have the fetta cheese.

I have a trip 200 miles north of here with son and soninlaw coming up in a couple weeks.

I went for a short ride to test my rear brake. After bleeding the brakes (in all honesty I have no idea how to do this, and the process resulted in ruining the fresh paint on the caliper, getting brake fluid all over the bike, tyre, myself and the driveway), I had brakes for about 5 kilometers (like 10-15% of what Im used to). Then there were nothing, a somewhat flaccid pedal and no real braking effect.

Then at some random road the bike just stopped. I figured it was the fuse again, but apparently all fuses are okay, but the corrosion on the fuse box made it stop working. Scratched it with a key and road home. Washed it with oxide cleaner and soaked the entire fusebox in dielectric grease.

Now Ill read up on how brake bleeding works. And to strip the front calipers of paint Im just going to leave them in a tub of brake fluid for a week :P
