    Very interesting Cowboy!

I lived in Hawaii from 1999-2003 and love waterfalls...those falls remind me of Oahu. Thanks for posting.

Good to see you guys connect Rich and Lyle! You guys aren't too far away to meet in the middle. Joe and gang are hilarious. I think I should take a trip over to the land of Eli...
No pics. Just miles on the Bonneville and Monkey mainly over the weekend. I go in for 5 hours today than I'm off for 20 days... I'll be in NH this weekend seeing family I haven't seen on over a year. I'll also be going to bike week in Laconia.

Nice weekend trip. Met GSR member Rich as noted above. His 750 is beautiful. And he was kind enough to share his exotic boston beers!

Up on the hill to find cell service to tell our o'ladies we were alive.

Just a note, the ugly seems to be having carb problems but it will return. I tend to ride the Suzuki GS's for normal road rides cuz the tires are cheap. Tires for the beemer ain't.

Got out this afternoon for a little 25 mile "test run". Happened to stop by the local aviation museum and there was one (I'm sure a retired one) Navy Blue Angel jet!

Even an older one is still pretty cool to see up close!

I've enjoyed the pics and ride reports lately. Thanks for posting. 👍

We made it through part of Texas yesterday and into Guymon, OK. Booked a room in Kansas city for tonight. Slow to get started today.

Seven-20 minute sessions @ the Ridge on Monday on the beater 04 gixxer 750, rained buckets on Sunday camping overnight, but stopped a bit for an evening track walk .

Unfortunately, a friend wadded up a new to him KTM RC8 on the fastest corner on the track. Ugh.

He's not a youngster either @ 69, but managed to walk away unscathed, bike not so much. It's fixable & he still wants to continue riding on the track.

Other than that unfortunate incident, it was a splendid day.

The RC8 is such a cool bike.
How in the heck did your friend get on it?
With that kicked-up tail piece i would need a step stool to climb aboard.

Yes very angular with a high tail section, however now the tail section points straight up, as it cartwheeled end over end or some such gyration.
The middle portion of bike (Frame, swingarm, engine, tank, radiator) seemed relatively intact. The front rim has a dent about 8'' long.

Really a sad sight, having spent all winter prepping it, adding goodies.

Interesting article Rich, does seem like the RC8 was being picked on, when the Super Duke is a bigger unfaired beast.

A couple more pics from our trip to Bedford. We have somehow avoided getting caught in the rain the entire trip so far. Knock on wood!

Ran across these in the wild today on a 400 mile ride (local sure)

Bonneville rolled over to 83K miles.

Just got back from a local 80 miles ride. Looking for a local twisty but somehow missed it.
No harm, found some more decent twisty roads in SC. Nice living on the border of NC/SC.
Finished it up on some twisties in Lare Lure. Getting close to 90F so time to put the shorty windshield on the ole '00 Connie.
Put new radial Dunlop RS3 and they work great. Still finding new roads down here after almost 3 years.

Actually did....got out for about four hours, including a lunch stop. Been a while...a serious while.

Just a few shots during a shady spot, pit stop.
