All good! 6 cylinder bikes are fun in their own right! I did 150 mile ride on the GL1500 this past Sunday. It was nice. The weather has been WARM! 65' right now. Heading out for some Doctors appointments and will be taking the GS.

Congrats on the bike Norm! Making your way to Vermont one of these days? I might be going out to New Mexico next summer. Most likely on the Goldwing or retro fit the touring gear on the Bonneville. I promised a buddy I would visit and have yet to come out, COVID first than my kid joined the party. Youngstown is a good overnight for me when heading west. Stay tuned, might need to utilize your gest room.

No Dave, I just stopped in to see what was going on. There was a Porsche club doing a track day on the big track. Go-Cart racing on the small track. It doesn't cost anything to get in to watch and walk the pits.
The Raceway is about a hour away from home. It makes a nice ride.

                          Great fall days recently.

Ride about noon, still a bit of fog haze by the lake.
And another clue that 'taint summer no mo' :
State Park campground closed to camping, but open to traffic, so can get closer to the pier.

Maybe everybody has seen enough of my beach/pier pics, but this shot includes something that I know some folks like.

Had a great ride, out for about an hour.
Greatly enjoy the GK. Thinking THIS is the bike I will have until I can no longer hold up a bike. (Do Think of stuff like that while finishing up my sixties, starting my seventies.)

Went for another ride in early evening.
Out for a while and Bike started running poorly, sharp stuttering. Made it back home. Made me wonder how much longer I want to deal with this.

More of the story of the stut stut stutter here
Got it into garage and walked away from it. Next morning sat down there and pondered, and walked away. Early afternoon I stood there for a while, and walked away. late afternoon I sat down and pondered, then took off the lowers. seemed to start okay and would kinda rev. Let it run for a little bit. But noticed that 2& 3

Weather was exceptional so I totally blew off work and went for a bike n hike to Niagara Falls State Park. A quick photo stop on the way to check out the hydrogen tanks being built. My punk kid told me about these. His company does inspection stuff there.

Zoomed in a bit. On the ground to the left you can see the top parts waiting to be lifted and welded on.

                              [

Parked on Goat Island looking toward the Canadian side.

Took a stroll around the island. Stopped for a picture or two but I've been here so many times it's mostly the walk for me.

Almost back to the bike. It's in that big parking lot on the right.

                                55degF this afternoon.
                                Went for ride on GK.
Man, I like the way it rides.

Now that not summer, a lot of my favorite spots to grab something to eat are like this

                                .

Went around to other side of the river, to stop here a little before sunset (sunset 5:30pm now)

                                and stayed for twilight

got back home after dark (dark now about 6 pm).
