We actually got a couple of inches of snow last night but it was mostly gone in my area by noon today. Found one road (Land's End, for you locals ) that was somewhat slippery with nice snow ridges down the centre of the lanes but I survived... road hugging weight FTW!

The roads finally thawed enough to test out my '78 7/10 build! jetting is pretty close and the pipe and pods are performing better than I could have hoped for.

1981 GS850L (sold immediately after I got it running)
1977 GS750 (sold to my dad, working on together)
1978 GS750E (Current $50 project) All stock except 4-1 pipes, factory ones rotted away. 1000cc swap on the way

The roads have thawed enough? Looks like i could go skating on that driveway.

HG, probably good to get out on the road after that work.

hopefully road better condition than driveway (usally is , for me anyway).

but still not any too warm, especially for open face helmet……

haha thankfully the roads were much better than the driveway

Felt so good to finally let this thing rip! it's my first time riding it since I bought it last May and my first time riding a 1L!

I had a full face but gave it to my dad. I foolishly thought I would have bought a replacement by the time riding season started lol

First ride on the GS this year....A little chilly first thing, but mid 60s by the time I got home.

                It's Dogwood season around here....

Not buying, just drooling. It is a pretty thing but Triumph has had serious problems with the gearboxes in the water-cooled modern classic line (just ask Jedz) so I wouldn't buy one. I did like the looks of the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 though... and the reviews on that bike have been really good.
