After a couple weeks of cold and/or rainy days, hey, a clear day and 48degF, maybe might get to 50.

Hey, find some excuse to get out for a ride.

Finally had a few minutes to get the Honda Barko-lounger out today.
Been busy, getting a new driveway and a garage being built.
All the Suzukis are in the storage unit!
Garage is going up on Tuesday, spray foam insulation being installed on Thursday, so they will be coming home real soon!

62degF but predictions of rain, so I waited a while, wasnt raining, so got out, was out for about an hour, and the sprinlkes seemed to be turning to rain so headed home.

Some signs that might actaully be spring before too long: some summer food booths open, and snow fence gone from beach.

Actually, went for two rides... don't need any jelousy around my house.

2 1977 GS750's - however. neither have the original engine and only one is a 750cc.

Got out for a bit today...
Chilly, and got chased home by some rain, but only 70 miles to the end of break in.

I don't understand all this break in talk. Whatever happened to "ride it like you stole it"?

Well, it is a brand new bike, and I would imagine, with all the electronics, it could be limiting the engine not to rev above a certain RPM or until the dealer sets to computer at the first service interval.

                  We got older and smarter?

Heck, I might even let the dealer do the first service...(depending on cost, I am cheap)

Bob, is the bike still living up to your expectations?

Indeed it is, Larry. As light as my TT600, but as comfortable as my GS.
Hoping to go ride the Devil's Triangle this week.

Got out on my Cooley yesterday...and insured 4 bikes for 6 months....so now all 8 are insured for the season. But I have to do some carb cleaning on my 82 1100 and my 83 750....

And so it begins....my son got his learners and we got him started out on my dr650....perfect bike to learn on. He has some dirt bike experience and he knows how to drive a manual car....didn't take long and he was starting and shifting well...
Monday I'm signing him up for the Vancouver Island Safety Council motorcycle course...I'm glad he waited until he was 21 to start riding....he has had his own vehicle since he was 16 so he has some good experience on the roads.
Really looking forward to one day being able to take him on multi day trips.

That’s awesome. I had waited a long time for at least one of my kids to get his MC license. I really treasure the times that we get to ride together. He’s now talking about enlisting in the Air Force so we’ll have to make the best of our time this summer.

You're both lucky as heck. And I am jealous.
None of our three children have owned, or piloted a motorbike. No interest.
The older daughter was on the back of mine, once or twice, and she a short term boyfriend that had a bike.
                              But nope. Maybe the grandkids?
