        That looks like a very pleasant road. And the bridges looked particularly interesting, especially in the rain.

        Thanks for sharing.

            Haha yes indeed Cliff! I'm quite keen to try that road in the dry now, I reckon it'd be a real hoot! It was fun in the rain but just not as much fun as it should be...

              Hi,

              I just commuted like I do every day. But today was a little special because the other riders in the department and I all shared the same parking space.

              You see Ian's KLR650 and Carlos' Kymco scooter sharing a spot with my Jessie.

                I believe I see sun too Cliff! That's been a rarity here lately but today there's this weird blue stuff in the sky instead of the clouds...

                  Yes, the forecasters were wrong today. The "storm" moving in was so weak that we just got a few clouds today. "Winter" in Southern California is a different animal than most places.

                  Did you notice that the tires on that little scooter are just as wide, if not wider, than the tires on my motorcycle?

                  That scooter has a 130 on the rear and a 120 on the front. Jessie has a 130 on the rear and a 100 on the front. At least mine have a larger diameter.

                    Hahaha yep they're big 'uns! Definitely wider than mine... I only have a 4.10x18 on the back and a 100/90-18 on the front... most of the guys I park near at work have wider front tyres than my back tyre...

                      I've got a 110 on the back of mine IIRC, I switched bikes with the old man the other day and followed him around. Sure can tell it's an old bike, the tire looks like a bicycle tire!

                        Started my week and a bit leave from work today

                        After a much needed wash/polish after Saturday's big ride, I took her out for the first time in weeks with blue skies and no rain...

                        Unfortunately despite a high concentrate of truck wash to wash with and some reasonably solid elbow grease in polishing, I still have some baked on cow poo from Saturday...

                        It's about a 1000% better but hopefully will come off with some more washing and polishing...

                              Wanted to try out the stitch feature on my new camera. Kind of mixed results. I couldn't stop it from changing the exposure which you can see from the sky. I guess I'll have to look at the manual. { don't tell anyone }

                              Onward to Spanish Banks for a look back on the city. Still a little nippy out.
