Just read the whole thread... Didn't even have a beer to keep me company!
Brilliant idea this, I'm always keen to join the list of chaperons (just give us enough time to get Sue roadworthy!).
We've just started something similar with a Hot Wheels Toyota pickup, customized by one of our Club members in Hot Wheels Club ZA livery. The logistics may be a tad less complicated, since "Buddy" will be touring within South African borders (and he's quite a bit smaller than Stator)

In the immortal words of Daryl Kerrigan, from the funniest movie ever,"The Castle",feel the serenity. The mighty Murray River not only supplies water for irrigation but is also massively popular with tourists who enjoy dozens of beautiful sandy beaches and River gum forests. With 100lb cods swimming around it is a must for fishermen.

Today Stator got to come on the 2 man Scone ride. This is a 140ks ride taking in all the winding roads in the district. When we're 20 minutes from home we ring Robbie and she has scones and coffee ready for us when we get home. When Dennis tried to introduce himself Stator refused to get out and had to be dragged out.No-one likes BMW riders.

Dennis told him he looked like a small female Koala Bear which inspired Stator to head up a big gum tree looking for love but the locals realised he was just tourist looking to pot a local.Stator missed out!

Down the Lower River Road there are large culverts designed to minimise flood damage and some of them are steep enough to get The Pig airborne which upset Stators delicate tummy and he brought up the Bundy Rum and the Teddy Bear biscuits.

His Finley sojourn is now over and he has decided to hibernate until someone sends me their postal address to enable him to continue his journey.
