Stator is starting to get bored and with my recent stupidity plus the coming winter it will probably be early 2021 before he can really travel anywhere (he hasn't wanted to go to anymore waterfalls). If anyone down south where it's warmer would like to host him, please let me know.Cowboy Up or Quit. - Run Free Lou and Rest in Peace

Thank you for hosting Stator. I know, I know, he cost a fortune in beer and chips when he is bored.
He enjoyed Halloween when he was here. Hummm, small chocolate bars.
Maybe he can wear a mask this time.
He loved leaves. They crunch when you walk on them.
Snow. So quiet.
Christmas. Gravy and cranberry sauce.
I would love to have him back but then I am not any warmer.
-4°c tonight.
Say hi from me.

Hello Highway, long time no talk.
I wonder why I don't see my pictures from the Blue Ridge Parkway trip that Cowboyup took me on but I'm sure there are around here some where. I've been hibernating since that ride but finally got tired of sitting around so I asked to get out of the house today. Once he finished something called voting this afternoon, we made our way to his garage where he is working on making Christmas gifts for his eldest daughter. It looked interesting so I tried to cut what he said are half-lap joints in some brown wood.

Then, I tried using a Japanese bead saw to cut a dovetail joint in another brown wood. It was pretty interesting and I think I will return some day.

Nice to see you are still acquiring new skills.
It's also nice to see you are using a crosscut sled witch embeds the blade. Much safer that way for apprentices and long time wood workers.
Never seen anyone ride one before. But then I am not a bear.
I also noticed that you aren't wearing any loose clothing and jewellery. Safe.
You have your goggles close by for protection but do yo have ear plugs?
Be well my bear friend.

When consulting the magic 8 ball for advice, one must first ask it "will your answers be accurate?"
