1981 GS1100 new to me.
Just boughta 81 GS1100. Parts seem a bit difficult to come by for this bike. Is the 82 - 83 easier to buy parts for? JoeTags: None

Thank you, its nice to see so many responses. It a dark blue 81 1100e. I want to make it stock again. it has pods and mac 4 into 1. I bought a air box from ebay. The filter housing is a bit cut up. The bike needs a Rh side cover, blue. They put 82 valve cover caps on it. it needs 4 chrome ones. New there 25 each plus shipping. Instrument housing is not so nice. I do have the stock pipes Missing 4 collars and one heavy chrome flange that goes pipe to the head. There is more. I will post picture soon Have a great day.
