GS bikes that have been SOLD

Just thought listing GS bikes that have been sold should interest most of us, as a current price reference.
Please list any GS bike SOLD and selling price.
    Comments are welcome.
These I found on ebay, not my bikes.

80 S750L....didn't want I in the first place. Fixed and flipped

NOTICE these were both models too.

I would rather trust my bike to a "QUACK" that KNOWS how to fix it rather than a book worm that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix it.

Sold a 1980 GS550G for $500 around 1997. My first GS that my dad gave me. Nice little bike but I was ready for something bigger.

Sold two 1981 GS1000G's. The first one had a Vetter/KG setup and I was ready for something else. Ran good but leaked oil like crazy. This was before I was involved with this forum and didn't know enough to fix it right. Sold it for $750 somewhere around 2001.
Sold the second one because of annoying tapping sound which I guess ended up being a cam-walk issue. Tried to get it back but it has now disappeared again. Sold that one for $1800 (I think) somewhere around 2014 I think. Mr. Barr can confirm/deny.

Sold a 1982 GS1100GL for $1500 I think somewhere around 2013. Kerry can confirm/deny. I was really wanting another 1000G and was unhappy with the riding position.

Sold a 1984 GS1100GK for $1800 in 2017. Great bike but a local sale popped up for a GSX1100G that I had been lusting after for years.

And now, sold the 1993 GSX1100G last week for $2200 to MI 850guy because a beautiful ZX1100 popped up for sale locally and I am currently in the middle of my mid-life crisis.

Please list the prices your GS bikes sold for. My idea for this thread was for current GS price references.

Paid 300 for the 450. Cleaned the carbs and did fork seals. sold it for 850 and happy to see it go.

The 750 I had 850 into it. Like I said I never really wanted it so I took the 850 I had into it so it wasn't under my feet anymore.

Last year I sold an '83 GS850G with a nice (not Vetter) fairing for $1950. Approx 35000 miles, new tires, brakes refurbished, fixed all the electrical issues, and replaced all fluids. I'd rate the appearance very good (no rust). Only remaining things I would have done if I had kept it would be to replace the brake lines and fork springs.

I sold my GS650g a few weeks ago for $1250.00. I had put 18,000 miles on it in 9 years for a total of 48k miles. Bought in it Reno for $250, put countless hours of upgrades and rode the snot out of it. 6 bikes in the garage was just too many.

                    Sold this 1980 GS450e in 2012 for $850

I found this 82 GS 1100 L near dead. Paid $200 for it.

Caught it up on some much needed maintenance, removed a broken windjammer and added a small windshield, tires and a battery then sold it for $1000.

I noticed it up for sale a few days ago for $1450. Poor thing can't find a permanent home.

Bought 82 650GL for $300 after I got it running. Note to self: don't get bikes running in front of owner, could have gotten it for $250 as is.

Traded it for a '79 750L that I got running and added the missing clutch plate and friction disc. Road it a little and sold for it $1,800, made about a grand off of maintenance work on it, then bought back for $1,100 and resold again for $1,800. Made over 3k on this bike overall.

'81 450S from Charlie for $1,800 and broke even.

'81 550T bought for $300 fixed it up with my wife. Rode it and traded even for a nice 650 Nighthawk($1,800 trade value which it sold for a year later). Bought it back a year later from a different guy for $350 and resold it after putting clubman bars on it a redoing the seat for $1,800 again. The last guy that had it, couldn't get it started after trading his 750 Vulcan for it. The problem, the kill switch was in the off position. It also needed a new stator. I made $3k on this bike also. I hope to get this one back again.
