000005 mile 1000S
Last week or so I rode by a Suzuki/Yamaha shop. Unfortunately it was closed. Tonight I made it there by 6:00 closing time. The owner had a small collection of motorcycles one was a GS 1000S! It looked beautiful. I looked at the miles and couldn't believe the low miles. Turns out the motorcycle has never been titled. They recently changed the fluids and rode it up the street and back. Says he was offered $25,000... he turned it down. I think the motorcycle belongs in the AMA or Babor's museum. My Motorcycles:
22 Kawasaki Z900 RS (Candy Tone Blue)
22 BMW K1600GT (Probably been to a town near you)
82 1100e Drag Bike (needs race engine)
81 1100e Street Bike (with race engine)
79 1000e (all original)
82 850g (all original)
80 KZ 650F (needs restored)Tags: None

Where and who was this dealer? That bike may be worth taking a ride to see!Ron
When I die, just cremate me and put me in my GS tank. That way I can go through these carbs, one more time!https://www.thegsresources.com/_forum/core/images/smilies/cool.png

Will do, I'll get the vin numbers. I'll definitely will be going back. I want to make friends with the fellow. I was on my Yamaha tonight. I'll ride my 1000e next time. 👍 You never know maybe he'd rather sell it to a local enthusiast than a museum or big time collector... now your dreaming Norm, pop that little vision out of your head. hahaMy Motorcycles:

Cheers, David.
Check on the mirrors, I need a right and a left. Since no one is riding that one, those two will do.
You would think that since the Chinese copy everything, someone would have made replica mirrors by now.:cool:GSRick
No God, no peace. Know God, know peace.
