    RIP William Dunlop

Race organisers announced on Saturday evening that Dunlop, a regular at the Isle of Man TT and North West 200, had succumbed to injuries suffered in an accident earlier in the day

He skipped the Isle of Man to be with his pregnant girlfriend. Gone too soon, a talented rider.

Sad news. So many great riders lost from that family.

After watching the Isle of Man, I'm always blown away that more people aren't hurt or killed. The speeds those guys attain in the tight quarters, and the obstacles constantly going by at a blur, and on pavement that is anything but smooth. Other then when they get out of town into higher elevations does it open up..but through the villages at 150 mph. just astounds me. They know the risks they take, and that astounds me even more.

His uncle Joey died on July 5th, 18 years ago, father Robert died 10 years ago, now William is gone. Another tragedy in Dunlop family. His wife is pregnant, he skipped TT this year to be with her. RIP.

So stand to your glasses steady,

A toast to the dead already,
