    Same here. In fact, in 44 years of street riding, the only times I've replaced a front tire was when I was when I was replacing both and wanted a matching set.

    2016 XL883L sigpic Two-tone blue and white. Almost 42 hp! Status: destroyed, now owned by the insurance company. The hole in my memory starts an hour before the accident and ends 24 hours after.

      Interesting thread. I find that sometimes I can get two rears to a front, but if I’m riding hard and fast I usually get one rear to one front. I might only have a 3/8” strip on the rear as well as on the front of my GS s, no strip on the rear of my 919 and only 1/4” on the front.......I rarely ride that hard anymore....or less.
