    some pingel info

Dont know if this is readily available information but I couldnt find it so I thought I would share.

For the first time after installing a pingel fuel valve over a year ago I hit reserve. I have a 1982 Suzuki GS750 E which according to Clymer has a 5.0 gallon tank. Reserve was at 3.5 gallons.

I get between 40 and 45 MPG regularly so I would have been safe for another 40 miles ish without getting to nervous.

I replaced the stock petcock on my '79 GS1000E with a Pingel about 20 years ago. My bike also holds 5 gallons and hits reserve with approximately 1 gallon remaining. It's been the same with the stock petcock and the Pingel.
If I was riding on a long uphill or downhill, that would effect when it hits reserve.
And on the seventh day, after resting from all that he had done,God went for a ride on his GS!
Upon seeing that it was good, he went out again on his ZX14! But just a little bit faster!
