    2020 gsx katana

saw that they came out with a new katana, i dont know much about riding but i understand the original katana is a very sought after bike and a very well done machine. now the new one could possibly hold up to its standards, a 150hp engine, the platform from a gsx 1100 (suzukis naked bike) and a great modern version of the body styling, any thoughts from people who may have read more or just an opinion of it in general.

The new Zuk Kat is cool and all that. But it lacks the shock value that the original Kat had.... Long live the Suzuki Katana! 👍

      Can this be true?

I don't know about you, but I used to use LSD. And that first photo looks like a flashback.

2016 XL883L sigpic Two-tone blue and white. Almost 42 hp! Status: destroyed, now owned by the insurance company. The hole in my memory starts an hour before the accident and ends 24 hours after.

Looks like they left off appx. 12" of the rear fender. Maybe to wash the bottom of the seat while riding on a wet rd. & the exhaust is rather different. This new one doesn't look near as far ahead of it's time as the old "82" model did. In "82" they hadn't even started producing crotch rocket styling for public sale. I don't remember that starting till the "84" Honda interceptors. Shoot, those old Katana's look modern, even by today's standards.

I remember the original Kawasaki 900s being called "crotch rockets".
