Agreed. Would you want to ride it all day?Ron
When I die, just cremate me and put me in my GS tank. That way I can go through these carbs, one more time!https://www.thegsresources.com/_forum/core/images/smilies/cool.png

When you're young and crazy comfort isn't your first consideration, neither is safety for that matter! There's no doubt that I wouldn't want that bike these days but 30 years ago would be a different story. Given the resources I might even do one myself just for kicks.
This bike looks far more usable in the real world when you compare it to a lot of other custom machines out there. Let's keep in mind that the purists here are driving away some of the younger folks away due to their intolerance of anything that isn't by-the-book bone stock. If you don't believe me take a look at a site like DoTheTon or Chopcult and read some threads, comments about this site aren't hard to come across.1980 Yamaha XS1100G (Current bike)
1982 GS450txz (former bike)
LONG list of previous bikes not listed here.
I identify as a man but according to the label on a box of Stauffers Baked Lasagne I'm actually a family of four

It think it's pretty to look at, for sure. But no tail/brake light, no turn signals front or back, no plate (that I can see), no front fender sure give it a clean look but you can't drive it, not in my state anyway. The bars are lowered so much but the pegs/foot controls look to be in the stock location, that makes my back hurt just looking at it. Maybe with rear-sets it might be ride-able for short trips.
The negative space created between the rear fender and cantilevered seat pan is very cool, design wise. That and the organic looking exhaust pipe bends (almost look like centipedes) are really the only things I like about it.

It looks very well crafted. I don't have a problem with heavily modified bikes, but I hope the lobbed off backend trend ends soon.
Of most interest to me on this build is the monoshock conversion, which isn't shown in detail.sigpic
When consulting the magic 8 ball for advice, one must first ask it "will your answers be accurate?"

Building a beach cruiser out of a motorcycle is like building a walking stock out of a pogo stick. Although he did a good job on fit and finish, it is a brain fart nevertheless.
Now this is a cool beach cruiser (for someone that actually lives near the beach). Might even be cool with a banana seat on it.
Price: $2299.00 | Model Year: 2018 | A motorcycle inspired fat tire electric bike with powerful 750 watt geared hub motor from Bafang, unique battery integration designed to look like a gas tank, two battery size options
