    Possible Kaw Project

So, I am thinking about a new project.

I know the general cautions about dragging home a bike that does not rut. (But I usually fail that idiot test...)

Does anyone have any guidance on this model, or similar Kawasaki UJM's?

...and if it screams your name and you get it first, enjoy!

    Cheers, Alan

It's more-or-less a factory custom version of what was sold over here as the GT550. Almost bullet-proof engines, but not quite as bp as the GS.
They were a courier favourite for years and some did incredible mileages.

Same as the Kawa. LTD models, just a little fancier paint & black chrome. I never was drawn to the factory "Cruisers" Kawa., "LTD", Suzuki "L", Yama., "Special" & Honda "Custom", but nothing wrong with them, just not my style. If you're into working on bikes, this one looks like a deal, especially if the gas tank isn't rusted out. Just my opinion
