    No title GS

Im looking at picking up another red 83 1100E no title $100.Gads this is the 3rd or 4th one.Not sure if I will do it,feeling a little uneasy. It was left at a rental home when the tenant moved out and the new renter just wants it gone.I can get the license plate number but don't know if DMV would give me any info on it. I would part it not try to save it. Looks to be complete but carbs and airbox. Hope he has those. I'm in Washington state and it's from Oregon.Any thoughts?

    guys says it was abandoned?
    do you trust him?
do your local laws permit seizure and sale in such instances
it could be theft by finding in some places

It was left with the house when he bought it. I assumed it was another renter but he bought the property and was told by the real estate agent its his now.I asked him to send me the license plate number so I can check it through DMV. All I know so far.

I have had a cop buddy run plates and VINs to get the last registered owners address. Then write a certified letter and explain you have the bike and would like to work something out on having them give me the title or get me a replacement title. A little money for them gets them interested.

I would rather trust my bike to a "QUACK" that KNOWS how to fix it rather than a book worm that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix it.

I decided I won't chase titles. It will be stripped to the frame parted and then cut up. Getting it tomorrow and as far as I know it's complete has stock black exhaust and was laying on its right side for a while. Or I might decide I'm too lazy to do anything on it and just sell it as is. Next few days will tell.
