The link isn't working for me but my understanding is that vintage UJMs are in such high demand in Japan that there's a swift market over here for snapping them up and shipping overseas.

I wish the last few decades saw more modern UJMs in the US, like the one Jedz posted. I took a trip to Germany a few years back and was amazed at what they get to choose from. US also gets the most boring color schemes, but that's been true forever.

I understand there are model differences, but all I could see were tiny thumbnails of what looked like '73 - '75 Z1s being called Z11s.

2016 XL883L sigpic Two-tone blue and white. Almost 42 hp! Status: destroyed, now owned by the insurance company. The hole in my memory starts an hour before the accident and ends 24 hours after.

Prices are high most bikes are considerably cheaper here.
What they do have are models that never made it to the N American market.
The Katana in it's original design was reissued for the Japanese market from 1990 to 1994, so if you have the cash they're still available.

Great link! I found 3 GS750G's. Japan home market only bikes. About $6800 to $11800 US. One of them is a GL variety, which I didn't think they sold in Japan.
