I've always loved the 82-3 gauge cluster. The one on my 1150 with its much smaller speedometer and tach sucks by comparison.sigpic
When consulting the magic 8 ball for advice, one must first ask it "will your answers be accurate?"

Beautiful bike. Personally, I'd leave that oil cooler on there, you said you live near San Diego, that isn't a cold part of the country, and it does not harm to the bike. Frankly, I don't know why someone would remove it, when so many people with bikes that don't have them jump through hoops to put one on. It's a beauty for sure.
One of my bikes is a 1983 GS750ES that I purchased new. I love those generation Suzuki's. I was looking for an 1150, but ended getting a Kawasaki ZZR1200 with only 4875 original miles on it, and for only $2200 bucks. So that's my big bore bike. My small bike is also my first bike, a 1975 Honda CB400F (now a Kaz Yoshima 458 c.c. Stage III engine upgrade).
This is a nice forum, for the most part. There are some extremely knowledgeable people on this forum.
